I was down at Creekside Methodist helping dismantle and store Christmas decorations with enchiladas at the Cafe Aji afterwards. The rain on Main Street in Sutter Creek came down in sheets.
I need to see about cleaning the gutters around the house. Water poured out from one or two seams, and the gutter above the Triangle Garden overflowed the sides. I also need to investigate water collection systems and a rain gauge as suggested – a lot of water is running in useless directions. I tried to redirect the downspout at the spigot around the corner and into the ground under the camellia in the Triangle Garden. A temporary fix, but I saw right angle downspouts on Elizabeth’s house in Florida.
