I went out to mow the grass in the backyard after two weeks. The electric mower almost couldn’t make it through the thickest of the grass. The grass catcher was entirely full when I finished. The huge mound of grass clippings got only moderate interest from Spots. i cannot let the lawn go more than ten days at most. I may get away with a little more time since the irrigation water has been off for a few days.
Last evening I was in the back yard when the sprinklers were supposed to be on. Only one sprinkler appears to be operational. Not surprisingly, the grass grows thickest around that sprinkler. Long term project – to review all the sprinkler heads on the back lawn. The notion of long term projects always gets a bemused smile from Mike Stansberry.
