We picked up the truck today from Brown’s. Total bill came to $222.21 and MJ wanted to add the extra penny. Trent assures us that the truck should run even if we only start it every three weeks. MJ tells me that I will have to indulge my passion for a stick shift in the truck, because most american cars are sold with automatic transmissions.
I removed overhanging dead branches off the driveway. The dead branches scraped the cars and threatened to fall at any time. They surrendered without much discussion, even though I was only using a bow saw. Eventually i will learn to use the chain saw in the garage, particularly to do a heavy pruning of the trees along the driveway before the winter rains come. The truck was useful in hauling the dead branches up the hill to the burn pile.
