I am glad we are past the longest days of the year. The fifteen plus hour days throw off my internal clock. It just doesn’t seem right to go to bed at 9.00 when it is still light, but the sun wakes me up at 5.30 on the other side.
I came back after four days away to find a large fat caterpillar on one of two bare cherry tomato stalks. The eggplant also seems to be a popular offering. What was left of the plants and the caterpillar went down the slope. Catherine thanked me for my efforts to feed the wildlife.
The grevillea was on a continuous drip since I left midday on Friday. It has not responded and I may need to say goodbye.
