This Sunday was a wildlife survey. On the way to church I chased a flock of wild turkeys off the private road and into the olive grove. On Twin Cities Road I saw a herd of cows and an egret in the irrigation ditch beside the road. A perfect metaphor for Delta farming.
The smoke layer was heaviest just before the Tunnel, with better air quality on the Oakland side.
