The freeze or near-freeze continues. My car registered 33 degrees when I drove in last night. The mornings are even too cold for me to work.
I spent a half hour weeding the near side of the front slope garden, just to keep ahead of it. The ground is dry but soft, and the weeds gave up easily. The prairie dogs are back. I will have to look for more cat litter.
I uncovered a table in the barn that appears to be one of Gerry”s creations. I do not know he was so attached to mandarin red. A little paint stripper will address that. It is exactly the perfect size for the front porch, a work table off to the side.
We had ten minutes of rain this afternoon. I will take what I can get. No rain is forecast until the end of next week.
