The low last night was 37 degrees. Cold nights in the thirties will continue for the next week.  The one benefit of cloudless sky was a brilliant near full moon last night.

I was up before church to water. The irrigation system appears to be operating front and back. I watered 48 feet of ice plant until it gently puddled.  The sprinklers are not likely to reach that far down the slope so the race is on to save the ice plant and get it established.

I retrieved the plant thermal blanket from the garage.  MJ bought the plant blanket s originally when the planting in the triangle garden were new and tender.  I covered the Martha Washington geranium and Mexican heather in the back yard planter box, and will check on them when I return Tuesday afternoon.
