The tile floors were cold under my feet this morning, a brisk 57 degrees as I went out to feed Spots.  The fire prevention pond filled a bit overnight, and I will run the irrigation water feed again tonight.

The gold lantana at the upper open end of the front garden is a magnificent spreader, and I devoted part of my morning rounds to pruning it back.  The golden lantana under the trees is not blooming as healthily.

I sat on the summer house corner late afternoon.  Weeding the box with the large crape myrtle is my favorite activity because of the pineapple smell of the maida elegans next to it.
